Whatcom Seniors Golf (WSG) is a welcoming community of men and women who will be age 50 or older during the calendar year. Our season runs from late March through early October, with tournaments typically held every other Monday at courses throughout Whatcom and Skagit counties. We play by relaxed USGA rules, keeping the spirit of the game intact while emphasizing enjoyment, sportsmanship, and fellowship. Whether you are a seasoned competitor or simply love being out on the course, WSG provides a friendly, well-organized environment where golf and camaraderie go hand in hand.
While we encourage players to establish a GHIN/WHS handicap for competitive purposes, it is not required to join and participate. Prizes are awarded based on handicaps, and each event includes ball awards across four handicap flights, giving everyone a meaningful opportunity to compete. Our season culminates in a two-day WSG Championship, where jackets are awarded to low net and low gross winners in each flight—an exciting and memorable highlight of the year.
More than anything, Whatcom Seniors Golf is about people. Join as a single and you will quickly find yourself paired with great playing partners, building friendships that extend beyond the fairways. We are always looking for new members who enjoy the game, appreciate good company, and want to be part of a positive, fun-loving golf community.
